Paul Scholes plans to remain on the books at Manchester United for as long as the club feel he can do a job.

The veteran midfielder has enjoyed a blistering start to the new campaign, turning back the clock with some awe-inspiring displays.
One of the major factors behind his continued success is his hunger for the game and determination to be the best he can be.
Those philosophies have been drilled into him during an 18-year senior career at Old Trafford and have become an integral part of his make-up.
Scholes is now 35 years old and edging towards the end of his career, but has admitted recently that he has no plans to retire any time soon.
He also has no desire to leave United, with whom he has won an enviable collection of major titles, and hopes he will be given the opportunity to see out his playing days at the Theatre of Dreams
